Mt. Kailash a sacred Journey

This extraordinary journey takes you to Tibet's mythical Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, via hidden Humla valley in Nepal's most western frontier with Tibet. Starting from Kathmandu we travel overland to the west along the mighty Zangpo River and over high passes to reach Mt. Kailash. Once we reach there, we will make the 'kora' (holy-circuit trek) of the mountain sharing trail with other pilgrims traveling to Kailash in the summer months. After our trek we will camp at the bank of Lake Manasarovar and then head south to cross Tibet-Nepal border. Once crossed over the Nara Lagna pass, we continue our trek to the south of main Himalayan range down the Karnali River, through alpine meadows, ancient villages and forested valleys where our trek ends and from here we take a flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj in the Terai lowland region of Nepal for a flight onwards to Kathmandu.
